Hey y'all! I'm glad you're here 👋
When I started managing a LinkedIn page for a B2B SaaS company, I was totally lost.
Not only was it my first foray into social (I came from a content background), but it was a completely different realm.
When I went looking for advice or examples of how to build a LinkedIn strategy and successful program, I always got the same answers:
Look at these 3 big industry leaders – they're killing it!
Just create content your audience loves!
Engage your audience in conversations!
Um that's nice and all…but HOW?!
I got so frustrated with the not-really-advice advice – so much so that I just started ignoring it and started just…trying stuff.
If I’m being honest, that’s probably one of the best approaches for building on LinkedIn – experimenting, learning, and iterating. But that’s not why you’re here. You’re here because you wear about a million hats and you want PRACTICAL, actionable tips you can use, like, yesterday.
I don't have all the answers, but I have learned a few things from managing different company pages as a full-timer and contractor. And, most importantly, I have felt your pain, too.
Are these *best* practices? I don't know. But they are Things That Worked For Me and Might Work for You, Too. 💁
Take what you need, leave what you don't.
